Screen-Free Week Is Here!

Do you think your kids could give up their screens for a week? Now is the time to try!
What is Screen-Free Week?
Screen-Free Week is exactly how it sounds: no screens for a week! This special week is not meant to take away anything but to show your kids how much fun they can have without their screens! This week, (April 29 to May 5), thousands of families, schools, and communities around the world are putting down their screens to connect with their families and friends while discovering the world around them. We all know how easy it is to use screens to pass time, and that isn't always bad! But it's important to look past our screens to the world around us. Kids may have a tough time giving up their screens at first, but kids, being as creative and imaginative as they are, seem to quickly find other means of entertainment. Doodling, hide-and-go-seek, reading; the list of screen-free activities goes on!
What People Are Saying
"I saw my 9 year-old daughter laying on the floor. I immediately thought, 'Oh no, she is bored, maybe she could...' then I stopped myself and just let her lay there. She wasn't bored, just deep in thought. We don't always have to be doing something!" - Kim G, Ivins, UT
