What does NSF mean to me?
The program certifies that what is on the label is in the bottle and that the product does not contain unsafe levels of contaminants, prohibited substances and masking agents. Our scientists screen sports supplements for more than 270 banned or prohibited substances including:

·       Narcotics
·       Steroids
·       Stimulants
·       Hormones
EyePromise Screen Shield™ Pro, EyePromise Vizual Edge™ Chewable, and EyePromise Vizual Edge PRO™ are NSF certified for sport. The certification process verifies that:

·       Products do not contain any of approximately 270+ substances banned by major athletic organizations.
·       The contents of the supplement actually match what is printed on the label.
·       There are no unsafe levels of contaminants in the tested products.
·       The product is manufactured at a facility that is GMP registered and audited twice annually for quality and safety by NSF International.

The NSF certification process also requires ongoing monitoring and testing to ensure the product(s) certified by NSF International continues to comply with these requirements.
The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has named NSF Certified for Sport as the dietary supplement certification that best meets the needs of athletes.

“Major League Baseball has used NSF Certified for Sport as its exclusive third-party certifier over the last decade or so, and they have not had a single positive test come from those supplements,” said USADA CEO Travis Tygart.

Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Hockey League (NHL), and the Canadian Football League (CFL) clubs are permitted to provide and recommend only products that are NSF Certified for Sport. The program is also endorsed by the National Football League (NFL), Professional Golf Association (PGA), Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), Collegiate & Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA), and many other sports leagues and organizations.

“Earning the NSF Certified for Sport designation for EyePromise’s complete line of supplements is a true accomplishment. Athletes will now have vision supplements they can take without having to worry about athletic banned substances,” said Ed Wyszumiala, General Manager of NSF International’s Dietary Supplements Certification Programs.
