Why Nutrition Is Important for Your Eyes?

Your vision is protected by 2 important antioxidants called zeaxanthin and lutein. Together, these nutrients form a protective layer that protects the sensitive cells in your retina. Our bodies don’t create these nutrients on their own, so we need to eat foods that contain them. However, zeaxanthin and lutein are scarce in the average diet, which is why many eye care professionals turn to supplementation. EyePromise eye vitamins are crafted and trusted by doctors across the country.

Visual Benefits

EyePromise® Macular Health supports these areas of vision:

  • Visual acuity: the ability to see fine detail and read certain signs at a distance.

  • Contrast sensitivity: the ability to perceive sharp and clear outlines.

  • Light and glare sensitivity: the ability to see "normally" after exposure to a bright light

  • Vision in low light: the ability to see in dim lighting

I am a long time user of Eye Promise . I was first diagnosed about 1985 - and took zinc. I don’t remember when I found the zeazanthin research (after [lutein] was the suggested treatment) and have been taking it since. In the past two years my eyesite had dropped dramatically. My dry [age-related eye health issues] changed to wet in one eye. After a seriies of about 12 shots, it was controlled. Now suddenly my vison has changed again and I can no long read the newspaper, and just barely, the computer. I cannot say that Eye Promise has helped although I continue using it.
