It’s World Optometry Day!

The world is a beautiful place, and eye care professionals all over the country help us to see life in its true beauty. Today, we recognize everyone in the industry of optometry for their commitment to helping us all Live in Focus.

According to the Bureau of Labor statistics, optometrists “diagnose, manage, and treat conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. [They] examine eyes and visual systems, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment. [They also] prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions.” For many, though, the thousands of kind-hearted people in the industry are much more than this simple definition.
