Omega-V Benefits

As a vegan, making sure I get enough Omega 3 is crucial. I was recommended this product by my naturopathic doctor. I am super happy with the amount of Omega 3 that it contains, and even though it's pretty pricey, it's actually less expensive than the pill brands to get the same amount per serving. With all that said, it literally tastes like licking the back of a wet fish, and that's not hyperbole. I find it really, really gross, and I wonder if the lemon taste that's added is adding to the gross factor because it's not doing the flavor any favors. I keep taking it though and have found that if I chase it with some sort of citrus-type flavored drink, it makes it tolerable. I wish it came with a measuring cap too. I use a food scale to make sure that I'm getting the exact 5 grams.

Omega V was originally recommended by my eye Dr. It is a very good product and helps with the inflammation with my dry eye condition in conjunction with other treatments.
Would’ve given 5 stars but a bottle needed to be replaced due to a cracked cap and it had leaked in the box. This has happened with several other orders. The replacement was sent quickly.
Another issue is that if a customer calls no one answers the phone at all. Don’t mind sending email correspondence but if there is a phone number then a representative should eventually answer. I waited for 2 hours one day then chose the option to call me back. That was several weeks ago and never a call back. That’s when I emailed. There could be customers who don’t have the option to email. Didn’t have this issue when the company was just PRN.

Excellent product and superior customer service. I keep mine in the refrigerator and shake before taking my teaspoon full. It does not solidify in the refrigerator. Taste is fine in my opinion but that is subjective. It was recommended by my opthalmologist for my dry eyes. I am a 48-year-old female. I have been using this product for at least a couple of years now. My eyes are particularly sensitive to fluorescent lighting which I often work under unfortunately. I do notice a difference in overall energy as well as cognitive clarity and sharpness after taking this product. I am satisfied and because I do notice a fairly immediate positive implication for energy and mental acuity from taking this product I find it worth the cost a will continue taking it. In addition to providing an effective product with clean ingredients the customer service can’t be beat. They are easy to get a hold of and immediately take care of any concerns. They are customer-centered. I had a glass bottle break in transit on one occasion which was immediately refunded. They package their products very well with bubble wrap and fill to reduce possibility of glass containers breaking. The breakage that I experienced was a one-time fluke and was handled immediately. I also had two accounts open simultaneously which they noticed and alerted me to and when closing one account they took it upon themselves to maintain the account with the best financial incentive and close the other. They have been available and patient when I had questions regarding product. This is a really great company. I did not receive an incentive for this review or have connections/ relations to the company aside from being a happy customer. The company and product are simply worth the time to share my experience.

Excellent product. It has made a significant difference with my dry eye and mental clarity. I do still get dry eye under fluorescent lights at work but that is unrelated to the omegas. I do notice a dry eye improvement in all other settings. The taste doesn’t bother me at all. I keep mine in the refrigerator and shake the bottle before taking my daily tsp. The product maintains liquid form even in the refrigerator.

My opthamologist recommends this. My Omega 3 was around 5.8% and over the first few months of taking a teaspoon of this daily it rose to 10.5%. I do wish it had a slight flavoring to mask the taste of algae which inevitably tastes fishy. I have noticed when I have taken other brands of algae oil my eyes suffer for it so the quality of PRN is worth it.

I have been taking this oil for year. While not the best tasting it is not terrible. And it works! My eyes were so dry I was getting headaches and taking this oil consistently was a game changer. For someone on a plant-based diet I am so grateful there is an option like this for me. I only wish I could still order 12 bottles at once!

My ophthalmologist strongly advised me to try this product for my severely dry eyes mentioning that it would take a few months to notice the benefits. She was absolutely right—but the wait was worthwhile. Since taking it daily as directed I’ve seen a significant improvement in my eye dryness. Before discovering this I had tried everything from preservative-free eye drops to tear duct plugs with little success. As a vegan I opt for the algae-based version which my doctor assured me is just as effective as the fish oil alternative. While I’m not a fan of the taste and often reach for mouthwash afterward the results make it a small price to pay for lasting relief.
